Join us for a guided tour of the home of Miss Emilie Piper, the last private owner of Löfstad Castle. Miss Emilie died in 1926 and wished for her home to be preserved and made into a museum. Here, we are the custodians of 34 000 artefacts with as many stories attached.
At Löfstad you see a true home of the gentry class, with collections amassed through centuries. Listen to the long history of the house and its family.
On this tour you will see the beautiful stately home and its magnificent salons, with everything from the dining room and library to the last count's office. Experience Löfstad's 18th century and hear stories about the dramatic life of the von Fersen family.
